Auto-Pay – Can it break?

Many people have experienced this unpleasant surprise before. Auto-pay breaks and then you may end up with a late payment on your credit report, that was not really your fault. The money may be available, however due to a technical difficulty, a mistake on the routing number or for any other reason, your automatic payment will not go through and you will end up with a late payment on your credit report and a ding on your credit score. In order to avoid this, make sure you check your online auto-pay at least once or twice a month. to ensure that your payments are going through.
